Thanks. Currently using a year old L720. Best camera for its price IMO. 😁 Just curious where did you guys get yours? I bought my first Lumia 800 from directd and it's a tank still going strong (tho looking at the display now I'd be sure to avoid AMOLED forever). This L720 is from Satu Gadget and it gave me problems from day one.

Yeah I know L720 is a solid phone. Just that mine is a lemon. :/ Didn't take it to warranty since I can't be bothered to prove stability issues lol.

Yeap AMOLED degrades over time. My year-old L720 screen is still as bright as new in comparison. Top notch.

BTW got my L1520 and within a few hours the search button started to press itself. Disabling glance and double tap seems to help and when it does it again flexing the bottom right corner kinda work but I'm not really a fan of disabling features. What the hell Nokia. I live in Terengganu and the closest care centre is 160km away in Kota Bharu. Fml. I'm hoping that this is a fixable firmware/calibration issue.

Wow right when I was staring at your post mine got a seizure lol. Do stores in this country usually have 1-to-1 exchange for faulty devices? I'll call the store today and see if they can get mine replaced but I'm kinda worried I'll just get another lemon with different problems. A guy in the official forum swapped a unit with this problem only to get one with overheating issue. (depressing lol) I know I rather have a unit with intermittent seizure than one with a bad temper.

It's on 'promo' now for RM1999 though I got it for a whole RM200 less from regular store.

I'd buy from Nokia Store though. If you happen to get a lemon at least you can probably exchange it. If they don't allow you to just make a fuss on their FB page. >:)

BTW I slapped on a Nillkin case and it appears the problem has gone away for now (touch wood). Hope it stays good as I'm not really in the mood to make some hundreds of km journey.

Whoa update. Any idea how big the download is? I'm off Wifi atm so it would be nice to avoid any data usage surprise lol.

Anyhoo a few more impression - this must be just a feeling but I'm thinking L720 screen looks nicer with better viewing angle. Maybe I'm just crazy or maybe it's due to the gargantuan screen size.

Low-light video is just super terribad. I've seen some videos on YT with before/after update comparison and it looks miles better in "after" but no idea what update that is (around late Jan/early Feb) and I think the only update that I don't have is this latest 1402 one. If this is the kind of quality 'post-update' I'd really hate to see how it was like before. Even my L720 takes sharper videos (viewed on this phone) though it also has some colour noise. f/2.4 FTL.

I'm also more than 24-hour in with Nillkin case on and there is precisely zero touch sensitivity, seizure and Bing button issue. I hope there will be no more but I have my reservation.

I can practically cook an egg when playing Dungeon Hunter 4.

Not sure which code you're referring to but if it's RM-937 that stands for Lumia 1520 International version.

Mine is yellow and got it yesterday.

I use Nillkin since the one on my L720 works so great. Just RM30 off ebay . The bottom part is weirdly tapered though.
