Color preference differs among individual. Some like it to be striking while others preferred it subdued. Go to the store n view yourself. I have yet to see the other colors but I always choose black if I have any choice. I understand the materials used are different too for the various colors.

I noted by just changing region to USA I could easily install metrotube. Not necessary to go through those detailed steps as listed in page 1. Reset back to Malaysia and app still works well.

When taking shots how do you save it to external SDcard. I was unable to find such an option

Those used to Androids ( eg me) will find the apps quality is worser besides lacking in variety.
Overall this phone smoothness loses to say XZU, HTC One Max, Note3. As I used the browser a lot all the browsers I tested failed me vs say Boat, Dolphin , Stock internet in Android. All browsers I tested displayed slight jerky during scrolling
Major issue I dislike is Microsoft protection of its files. I have yet to find any file manager/explorer app that can fully access even my ext sdcard. All apps I tested are all half baked solutions. Most app developers apologize for this defiency when you launched it n suggest renaming files!!!

Not familiar with earlier versions of Lumia but for this phone, it is very easy to get apps from other countries. Just change the region to , say USA and you can get any apps from there. Reset region of phone back to Malaysia and apps works fine. The procedures to go through changing proxy, etc etc as listed in page 1 of this thread is not applicable at all.

Was unsuccessful trying to connect my phone with my Viao Pro ( windows 8.1), desktop PC ( winxp) , iMac n MBA ( Mac osx) using my oftenly used 3 usb cables ( htc, blackberry n samsung). All ocaasions it shows non detection of phone. Finally took out the supplied Nokia cable n Viola the phone was successfully detected.

I find it very strange too

I got the solution from Nokia forum as apparently several users in same scenario as me and was advised to use only the Nokia cable

This user at hardwarezone ( post #290) claims purple tint issues on camera shots ( m'sian and Vietnam users >??). How about you guys ?? I do not faced such a problem

No. I don't find it any heavier than any other flipcases eg rock, niiilkin I have used for other phones

Lowyat.net has reported that uncle who attended the seminar is 70+ years old. He also has another Nokia, 920 I remember. Respect really for such an elderly guy who is still following up with technology. I wonder at times whether I can even live up to his age!!! I am now already 59 n though still healthy but life these days is so uncertain!

2014 Sony might join in with their version too. Great for consumers with more choices
