Yeah. i9505. But it shouldn't make any difference.
Both RAM's 2GB, so it wont lag. I do monitor how much memory it uses, quite a lot (from 700mb free, when feedly opened, only left 300-400mb.).

I'm not sure about that. I chose i9505 bcoz of the LTE, and with Maxis unlimited internet = win!

Yeah. S4 will be my last Samsung phone too.
When the time comes, hopefully in 2-3 years time, I'll jump ship to either Nexus or HTC phones.

I found a very useful website about rooting WITHOUT tripping KNOX, but sadly it's only for i9500 (and other devices such as Note 3), at the moment.

So, if just root without flash recovery, it wont trip KNOX?
But will i still get official firmware OTA updates?

If i wont get OTA, might as well i go all the way and flash recovery.

Backing up & restore using titanium is a bit of a hassle.
Before this i was so keen on flashing ROMs, Kernels, etc.
Nowdays so malas already. lol.

But as for app data, quite a lot of em dont have cloud/online backup.

If possible, i dont wanna change the back cover.

I wanna buy the stock battery set (that's together with the batt charger), but it's quite expensive, RM180.

I found one, gtoracer1, selling at RM89.90.
But i dunno if it's worth it. I got around 12hrs per charge with the stock batt.

Anyway, anyone having this problem, where everytime u launch stock camera, the "transition speed" in dev mode will resets itself?
Is it the firmware problem? Or do i need to wipe my data? Kinda annoying everytime i need to change the transition speed.
