Well don't worry that much. It should not be a big deal and custom roms really play a huge part in this phones battery life and usability. I would say its more of a gain then a loss

You are also using the I9505, you have so many awesome roms compared to my sad i9500, if you didnt root, you are not using that phone to its full potential.. you have offical cm 11 as well , i wish we had official cm11 on the i9500 that works well enough.. sigh..

GPE - almost as stock as AOSP.
PA - there are tons of feauture, read them up.
SlimBean - idk lol, havent use it before.

guys.. anyone of you using tempered glass on your s4? any recommendation? oleophobic coating must be good and with rounded edges.

The coating really good. Really reduce the smudges compared to regular screen protector. The glass feel is just excellent, don't think i can come back to normal screen protector after using the tempered glass.

Just hope i can use it for a long time cause the price   

is there any cheaper alternatives? and according to iphone users in i thread, none suggested SGP tempered glass cos overrated, quality not good & expensives..

why dont you try something less heavy first, maybe those roms that have slim versions available. there are quite a few such as echoe slim or goldeneye or even GE 4.3. better to avoid buggy roms based on kitkat 4.4 if you need your phone stable all the time.

i've used GE 4.3 since october, very stable and smooth but the camera is lacking quite a few features compared to samsung stock camera. now I'm testing goldeneye v14 without any samsung bloatware, not bad..

Im using i9500 bro. I heard that, KK4.4 based roms for i9505 are buggy, so avoid them at all cost for now.

since u need a fast and stable rom why not try GE 4.3? not the latest or greatest but the download size is very small around 400MB, even 300MB if you look around closely (v1.5 CoOoL_BoY). just remember you wont get any samsung features such as air gesture etc...

goldeneye is based on TW minus the bloat. personally I like it coz the relatively small DL size compared to other TW-based roms. also its quite stable, haven't had a single random reboot nor FC since flashing v14 two weeks ago. have not tried version 15 yet tho..
