QUOTE(aus866 @ Nov 4 2013, 07:07 AM) My friend need to change tyres on her Preve, she does a lot of travel to Singapore. Ride is bumpy and getting bald now. Which tyres to consider? Price is not a factor. Grip on wet road and comfort are important. good year Eagle f1 asymmetric 2 or michelin pilot sport 3

QUOTE(sanadi @ Nov 4 2013, 07:58 AM) F1Asy2 don't have for 16" IINM. Preve is 205/55R16. Many are changing to Goodyear F1 Directional 5. Just slightly below F1Asy2. i wouldn't go D5 cuz of directional and that sucks for NVH. PS3 it is then. can't vouch for Yokohama advan db in the wet, however it's good for comfort and it's available even for 15"

QUOTE(GoldenHawk @ Nov 12 2013, 09:27 AM) I'm generalizing here, but if you want to go to specifics, try taking 2 tyres of the same class (sport vs. sport, comfort vs. comfort, etc.) and you'll see the difference. I personally had experiences between A-Drive and NCT-5. so far my experience is that yokohama can trump goodyear in NVH any time with their CD2/Advan DB. wet grip not so much though especially compared with the Eagle F1 AS2 - which has pretty good NVH too, although if you want to compare GY flagship, it'll be against the Advan sport, and then people would start to b**** about pricing.
