imho, after using the pen tools inside AI for like, 4-5 years maybe, all it takes is , practice when u must "drag" ur pen point, where ur next pen point need to be, and u must know how or wuen to use the "pathfinder"

aniways, i hate tracing logos! boring and tiring and it need a good planning before you trace em'....

tracing under ai for logos sux!

If u using Corel Draw, u don't hav to use photoshop laiw, cos' corel draw is similar to photoshop. My frie prefer corel draw instead of photoshop. He said that he more like the interface of corel draw. Whereas, for me, i prefer photoshop. Both are same thing, got pen tool, brushes ...etc etc... So, just choose whatever u like and use that software smile.gif cheer

Back to the topic, better using photoshop and illustrator. Illustrator is a great tools for vector design smile.gif

prefer juz using coreldraw for design logo, make new design for fonts, trace and re-design back logo and making corporate design also....easy to use and agreed it was user friendly....

AI only used when trying to editting more familiar font beside it already have..
