Breeding, what would u do actually? Pls explain
Ok. Breeding is used to pass down Egg Moves and IVs (Individual Values, or Pokemon genes). Each Pokemon has their own set of IV that can't be changed and ranges from 0-31. However IVs can be passed down to the next generation with the use of Power items (Power Lens, Power Weight etc.) or the Destiny Knot, which is the best thing to used for breeding (guarantee to pass down 5 IVs from either parents), though luck is needed, cuz not all the perfect IVs will be passed down, so be patient
To start breeding for team building, it's better that you beat the game, and have access to Kiloude City. You need this for 2 breeding related reasons:
1. The Friend Safari, it has Pokemons that contains minimum of 2 perfect IVs. It helps you save time getting perfect Pokemon. Also you can try to get Dittos with perfect IV stat from other people's Friend Safari, since you'll be using Ditto to breed most of the time, you need good stats.
2. The IV Judge. He's the Ace trainer on the left side of Pokemon Centre in Kiloude City. He'll tell you how much potential (IVs) your Pokemon has. He'll tell you which stat in your Pokemon has the best IVs. Usually when he says 'it's best stat is Attack, it can't be better), it means that your Pokemon has 31 IVs for attack, in short, a perfect stat.
Also, to pass down natures in Pokemon, you'll need an Everstone (meaning the two key items in breeding are Everstone and Destiny Knot). The Pokemon holding the Everstone is 100% certain to pass down his nature to the offspring (e.g. My male Blastoise with Jolly nature breeds with a female Garchomp, the Gible offspring is Jolly nature).
TL:DR, watch this video, it helps a lot. Hope that helps
