Since you're already on OpenWrt, just use the "sysupgrade" firmware.
Remember to reset the settings to default before flashing.

Hmm, my router has been running strong so far with the new stable BB 14.07.
No drop in wireless connection.
It has just been 2 days straight, perhaps it is still to early to tell smile.gif

Is IPV6 already working in your area?
If not, delete IPV6 WAN from the interface page.

Not sure if this method will help you but it helped me. smile.gif

Looks like the theme for the LUCI gui is missing or corrupted.
You'll need to use PuTTY to install a theme through SSH.

Edited - Better yet, re-install the whole LUCI gui.

Do remember that I said "Not sure if this will help". tongue.gif
Because I've already stopped using TP-Link routers & OpenWRT firmwares altogether.

Found a guy who manage to run DD-WRT with both UniFi & IPTV working on his TP-Link TL-WR841ND router.
Dem, I wish I still have my WR1043ND, would love to try it out.

I prefer DD-WRT over OpenWRT.

djhenry91 wanna try bro? biggrin.gif

Thanks sHawTY for pimping my guide! biggrin.gif

I believe the same approach is applicable to WR1043ND (which I'm also using for my own LAN as I set it up to connect to the DD-WRT WR841ND at my landlady's master bedroom through wireless).

The reason I created the guide because I manage to *accidentally* get HyppTV working since 2 months ago after trying to figure out the VLAN stuff from the non-functioning D-Link DIR 815. I got procrastinate in creating the guide until my landlady's cousin cannot watch HyppTV and call TM technician to fix it when I'm out. doh.gif

TBH DD-WRT interface is not friendly when creating the VLAN thingy compared to TP-Link default firmware but like brader sHawTY, I prefer DD-WRT compared to other firmware. tongue.gif

I'm sure lots of people in here would appreciate if you could provide some guide on how to setup 2 VLAN on WR1043ND running DD-WRT.
It'll be even better if you've somehow manage to check if it really works on WR1043ND. biggrin.gif

I don't know if the method is the same because I did try once, for hours.
But I gave up and switched to OpenWRT because it's easier setting up VLAN there. LOL!. tongue.gif

If I still have my WR1043ND, I would try it right away.

I'll take a look with my WR1043ND settings and see if the settings is similar to WR841ND sometime this week. smile.gif

1. Reset to default.
2. Revert to stock firmware.
3. Flash OpenWRT.

So, how should I setup my router? How to setup vlan.600 on the second router?

This thread is really helpful. I managed to get my TP1043 v1 to work with Barrier Breaker.

I need some help on the print server P910ND. I am able to install it into the router and connect my PC to it. However every time I restart my PC the connection is lost and need to add printer back in again. Need some help to fix this.
