hmm..so if i maintain my normal meal, will weight losing be achieved by doing those exercises??or should i add in something else??i hope to lose like at least 10kgs in 4-5 months...
*
if you eat a balanced healthy diet and workout with a good workout routine you'll lose the fat and imo, if you want to burn fat fast, weights do it faster than aerobic workouts.

muscles burn fat, the more muscle you have the easier it is to burn fat. or something along those lines.

coffee seems to provide you with energy because of its caffiene content, it stimulates the CNS giving you what seems to be "more" energy and better coordination if taken in the right amounts. iirc its also a metabolic stimulant.

as with all drugs there are draw backs to drinking coffee or consuming any product with caffiene over a long period of time. if you like drinking coffee for the taste and such then drink it but if you're drinking it as some sort of diet drink dont.

so... basicly your list is what your friend takes and what you take? hardly what i'd consider to be a bodybuilder's diet in general.

errr depends on how its fried and how rich the curry is? if its a light pan grill/fry with minimal oil i'd say it'd be healthier than going with a full heavy curry?

imo it really depends on what you're eating for, if you're bodybuilding or a pro-athlete where you have to keep to a strict diet then obviously you skip on both and go for the healthier options.

if you're just working out to get in decent/good shape and live a healthy life, aslong as you're not just eating junk all the time and have a good general diet eating "normal" foods like curries or fried foods 3-4times a week is fine.

try...
eating wholemeal bread for breakfast instead of nasi lemak.
eat... a proper lunch instead of eating 2 breakfasts and then a semi-lunch sort of meal.
eat a reasonably healthy dinner, meaning just eat within reason much like your second breakfast.

if you're limited by time, try weights instead of just jogging, if you feel you must have some sort of aerobic exercise, run for 15-20 minutes with speed variations with some light-medium weights. be sure to warm up and cool down.

little fat intake is necessary for balanced diet.

morning 7-8 jog...

eat normal rice meat

6-7 jog

10-11 jog

Or, lift some weights, do some squats, do some pushups, 5 times a week for 20 minutes each workout. You won't lose "weight" very quickly, but fat weight will drop and muscle mass will increase which will further improve your metabolic rate making future fatloss EASIER.

Somebody pls judge my diet plan:

Morning - Milk (Around 300 ML) + 5 full tablespoon oats + A LOT Coco crunch (or corn flakes, alternating)
Lunch - Rice/Mee/Meehoon + 1 or 2 plates of vege + egg
Dinner - Milk/Yogurt/Yogurt drinks + Muffin/Cookies/Fruits

Workout/Exercise - No workout as I'm quite lazy and recently keep raining
Izzit possible for me to lose 5 kg within 1 month? Damn I'm doubtful... :-S

I'm practically a vegeterian..
Is meat necessary? for weight loss?
*
Well no not really. You don't need to eat meat to lose weight.

If you're not exercising, exactly how do you intend to lose weight? Eating less won't really do it, the fact that your posting here asking on advice on weight loss proves that point. If your metabolic rate is low and keeps getting lower as you eat less and remain relatively inactive, what's going to burn your calories?

If you're lazy, you're just going to have to be content with your weight or you could go waste money on products that advertise fat loss like the uzap or whatnot.

Then again if you're looking to lose weight regardless of fat, 5kg is very doable. Dehydration works wonders on the weighing scale.

eta: Vegetarian eating eggs? Thats kinda... "off" don't you think?

QUOTE(Pangkey @ Jul 24 2008, 12:14 AM)
During my teenage years of around the age of 13-15, i was very very fat, my weight was about 80 plus kgs back then. I realised what I should to have a better look, I then hit the gym but only light weightlifting and do jogging every morning. I lost weight until 70kgs when I reached the age of 18.

However, the problem now is I'm not doing what I used to do. So I got fat again, now at 82kgs. Will I be able to lose weight again? OR its not gonna be succesfull? Im worried this gonna stay with me forever...cos I heard from people, once you get fat after slimming down...the chances are very slim, I dunno how true is this, but I somehow beleived it..
Anyone help me on this issue?

Thanks for the feedback smile.gif

You can lose the weight again if you workout and eat right. If you fall off the bandwagon, expect to get fat again.

Your calories consumed should not exceed your calories burned. Weight gain = calories consumed > calories burned.

Guh, be like 300x more specific. Noone can tell you how many calories to consume daily if they don't know anything about what you're doing in your workouts and what you're eating now.
Post what you eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, all the inbetweens and your workout routines.
