QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Dec 2 2013, 04:35 PM) Since it is the Christmas month and we grateful for your participation , we have decided to run a promotional sales charge of 1% sales charge on both funds from 2 December 2013 till 31 December 2013.http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=4116 I would be tempted back then. But now prefer to invest directly in shares. Unless a big correction then I will top up.

So which market do you all foresee 2014 to do well in. Consistent with what we discussed last year? To focus on Asia market?

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 6 2014, 08:20 PM) But 1-month and 3-months it's still green green HK, China and SG has been going nowhere...with this picture in mind, Pacific Global Stars seems to be a good candidate for topping up PGSF has quite some exposure in Singapore. Cannot top up anymore, if not I will be HEAVY invested. Both Hwang funds and PGSF are heavy in Singapore now.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 9 2014, 09:35 AM) U expect TOTAL ROI over 3-7 yrs of 20% or u expect ANNUAL ROI of 20%? If the latter, then u are overly optimistic and will be disappointed. With UT, expect 10% p.a. AT MOST, beating EPF is the min. goal. That is referring to ROI right? Speaking of that, I have to start keep tracking of my year-to-year ROI increase. XIRR just does not justify the performance for now.

Unker Looi / Pink, how's your funds performed for 2012 alone? Meaning using the total ROI for 2012 minus out 2011 ROI.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 9 2014, 10:01 AM) I only have ROI record for 2013...previous years I did not track ROI. Oh gosh, what was I saying. I meant 2013 minus 2012 ROI figure. Anyhow you don't have 2012 ROI figure. That's fine..

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 10 2014, 06:20 PM) ROI don't need any fancy formula... Just put your transactions like this e.g. A | B | C | D Amount | Transaction | Units | Price 1 -100 Buy 2 -200 Buy 3 -100 Buy 4 500 Value 100 RM5.0000 Profit/(loss) would be =sum(A1:A4) Let's say u park P/L at cell A5 ROI would be =A5/-sum(A1:A4) Format that as percentage Faham ka After a long day at work see this also headache. Can understand better by looking at work sheet. This post has been edited by TakoC: Jan 10 2014, 07:14 PM
