Food and supply based commodities will rise in price due to bad el mini weather....gold n oil price will rally sharply if war occurs....

I doubt any war will occur - at most a civil war in Ukraine

Most of the Ukraine conflict is internal - younger generation who want to align with the west (ie Europe) and the older who want to align with the east (ie. Russia)

The main reason Europe cares is because most of their gas comes from Russia via pipelines which pass through Ukraine

Watch the djia tonight... As it opens it already hit 0.4x% in a matter of minutes...huge capital evidently flock from Europe either to US stock market or gold....as what I have expected this is a hugely volatile month....expect this momentum to continue another 20-24 days before they crash...follow by a huge gold surge a week later n crash the following week... Prepare ur bullet bro... biggrin.gif

Got out of my Gold and General fund at around 20% gain, switched to RHB-OSK Emerging Opportunity

Going travelling for the next couple of weeks so won't have time to monitor

Still have some Gold exposure via ETFs

Not too concerned with short term, small % of portfolio only, if there's a significant drop I'll top up otherwise just wait it out smile.gif

Guys noon question here...

Any investment bank platform able to assist me purchasing shares in US stock market? Kinda like a 3rd party broker...

This.

I use below, but only purchasing ETFs rather than stocks

IB (Interactive Brokers) - cheap trades, but $10K min initial deposit I believe
TD Ameritrade - 500 free trades on signup (I think 60 days worth?) then more expensive trades, but can open with $1k or so
