OKL between KL/ PJ, more strategic but one part high crime and one part land sink.

Hi guys, let's focus the core subject here: "Old klang road vs kuchai lama, which better?"

First of all, we need to determine exactly which area considered "kuchai lama"..Did a quick check on wikimapia, I discovered the area in yellow below r collectively known as "kuchai lama", and part of this area is the a road known as "old klang road"...

Pls have to closer look below:

So, maybe the topic/question itself need to be more specific... biggrin.gif

Another break-in case happened 10 hours ago...

sink

[i]
http://www.hba.org.my/news/2009/02/help.htm

Hundreds of double-storey terrace houses which were built on a former mining pool, are sinking and residents believe that this is because the soil was not compacted properly when the houses were being constructed.

As a result, there is constant soil movement and this has caused cracks in the houses. Residents also complained that there are water leakages, broken pipes and damaged drains.

Based on the map below, all the examples above r located after the end of the old klang road (though the address still stated old klang road). Interestingly, most stretch of the old klang road is on the right side of Klang river laugh.gif whereas coincidentally, the cases mentioned above r on the left side of the river... sweat.gif

What actually makes OKR such a good property investment focus area that ppl talking about nowadays? Who are the potential subsales buyer and potential tenants in this area for all the upcoming new projects? Since sunway/subang/pj/bangsar south are just nearby only.. Why OKR?
*
let me guess, because, 1) there r not many lands left in nearby KL city centre? especially freehold? 2) the land available along OKR is near to both sunway/subang/puchong direction and kl city centre direction? 3) the potential group r those who used to the busy traffic in other area and want to stay in a new property not too far away from their workplace?
