I was actually quite torn between getting either the new iPad Air or iPad Mini 2 to replace my current iPad Mini. I love the real estate of the large screen and what hindered me from carrying my old iPad 3 was the weight. Then I read the article above and it got me thinking. I remembered during the keynote that I made a mental note that the new tablets didn't support the new AC Wifi specs and I thought what a bummer. Now some may think that what is the difference since most of the time the Wifi isn't used to consume so much data right? Well the fact that I use PLEX as my media server and it streams to all my tablet devices for me to watch movies wherever I am in my house so with the AC WIFI spec, I can stream higher quality media.
Damn, now I am quite torn about upgrading.
