I feel like get cheated by the parking management at Fahrenheit 88. Based on the Fahrenheit 88website the parking fee charge as below:-

Monday - Friday
7.00am to 4.59pm - RM3.00 for first hour
RM1.00 for every subsequent hour
5.00pm to 6.59am - RM5.00 per entry per day

However i enter the carpark on 17 Oct, 4pm and exit the carpark on 17 Oct, 1128pm. But i get charge for RM 10 instead RM 8. To verify this matter, i had called the parking management customer service and the customer service told me that if i enter the carpark before 5pm therefore i will get charge by hourly basis till i exit the car park. As the term and condition mention that after 5pm the fee is RM 5 per entry till 659am next day. But i will not enjoy this price if i enter the carpark early than 5pm. Which i think doesn't make sense and i had never face any issue with other carpark management except Edisijuta Parking Sdn Bhd. Ain't this we call day right robbery? The rules already stated that but when customer make a payment, we get charge differently.

I'm really look forward to received feedback regarding this matter.

what if we twist the situation a little? instead of exiting at 11pm, what if you exited at 7pm? would u rather be charged for rm8 or based on hourly-basis, which is rm5?

u are wrong because u entered before 5pm. So you are subject to the first block of charges instead of the 2nd. The idea is to discourage office workers from parking there and taking up spaces meant for customers. If u dont like it u can always speak with management and express your concern.

They made it this way to keep kam siap people like you out of the mall. F88 is a high class shopping mall and they certainly don't want window shopper to lepak all around. It adds to the malls management cost.

So show them you don't need to give them business by shopping at Mines. Cheap parking.

Thanks for everyone feedback. Since its stated that entry after 5pm is RM 5 per entry mean any car in the carpark or entry the carpark on/after 5pm is charge RM 5 till the next morning 659am. If you enter the car park early than 5pm then its will be charge base on hourly basis till 5pm, which is RM 5 per entry.
However it's totally different from the rest of the country i had been. Welcome to Malaysia.

Different case and you can't compare between sex and carpark.

It's rather small case why should we involved lawyer? Don't you know there's consumer rights association in malaysia?
