ERP = toll... same with what we have...
we are not enjoying free healthcare... at least i am not, i have my own medical insurance...
TV license how much? our Astro how much?

You think Singapore's public transport is that great? To go to a place that takes 15 minutes by driving may take more than an hour or more by public transportation. Moreover, their trains and buses are jam-packed like anything.
Buying a car is not optional for those with many children and elderly relatives. You don't expect to carry a baby in a jam-packed bus or train. Also not optional for those doing business.
We have free healthcare and primary and secondary education. Whether you use it or not it is totally up to you. At least we have the option. Over there, public healthcare is expensive and also have to endure long waiting times.
Their ERP is many, many times more taxing than our tolls because there are everywhere within short distances. Already paying so high COE, still have suffer heavy ERP.
No wonder their ruling party is nicknamed Pay And Pay (PAP) Party.
