I've noticed a faint squeaky sound coming from my front left brakes. Now, before I send my car to the workshop, the pads has been changed recently, say for the past 2-3 months or so? And the sound was quite recent (2-3 weeks or so). Any idea? Sticky callipers? hmm.gif

No need to do anything. Until next time you plan to change brake pad, bring along sand paper and high heat resistance aerosol canned paint spray gao dim. In order to add a bit of ricer feel, use Red/Yellow paint, that will make the metal sheet oustanding after plonk in to the boring caliper.

Unless i sempah every week, i dont foresee myself changing pads anytime soon sweat.gif

and the center three point seatbelt too...

anyway, no point always taking the s16 to compare. It is already know to the public the export version Proton usually are "more loaded with features" compared to local Potong models... lantaklah... if you were at Aussie and you have 20k AUD to spare for a car, I don't think you gonna take The S16 also... lololololol..

and the center "V" bar is made out of two thin metal sheet stamped together... not much significant difference in structural rigidity, compared to the 3Max rear strut bar.

Our cars also thin thin metal wo whistling.gif

If it's pre-SV then nothing can be done, the car is built to spec. If it was built post-SV, then it should have those additional stuffs, you can ask them why your car does not.

The CVT jerking is not due to gear selection problem, but more to the CVT staying in low gear ratio during low speed, like running on 1st gear in a manual car. It will reduce over time, but more likely you will get used to it and compensate with your footwork.

Is it? Must be because I whack so much that now it feels responsive and nice flex.gif
