No need to do anything. Until next time you plan to change brake pad, bring along sand paper and high heat resistance aerosol canned paint spray gao dim. In order to add a bit of ricer feel, use Red/Yellow paint, that will make the metal sheet oustanding after plonk in to the boring caliper.

and the center "V" bar is made out of two thin metal sheet stamped together... not much significant difference in structural rigidity, compared to the 3Max rear strut bar.

If it's pre-SV then nothing can be done, the car is built to spec. If it was built post-SV, then it should have those additional stuffs, you can ask them why your car does not.

The CVT jerking is not due to gear selection problem, but more to the CVT staying in low gear ratio during low speed, like running on 1st gear in a manual car. It will reduce over time, but more likely you will get used to it and compensate with your footwork.
