QUOTE(darium @ Oct 29 2013, 08:51 AM) My Saga 1.3 FLX 2013 has clocked 5129KM after about 6 months. No, you cannot skip any service intervals unless you are using fully syntektek EO which will last for 10k.According to the service booklet, there are 2 types of service interval. The normal 10,000KM service and the severe usage 5,000KM interval. I hardly go anywhere with my car, only to the LRT station about 4KM away from my house, a total of 8KM daily for work. Any opinions of whether to skip the 5000KM interval and go for the 10000KM straight? Otherwise, if you are using semi syntektek EO, you need to go back at 5k. |

V12Kompressor most probably your contact is right regarding changing CBT oil.
I asked Nissan guy, he said same thing with their CBT oil change. Need to pump into CBT, when the other hole starts to leak means full d. This post has been edited by ruby1288: Oct 29 2013, 09:08 AM |

QUOTE(Effy92 @ Oct 29 2013, 09:51 AM) last week just service my gf gaga at cose. the interval is 10k km regardless of any type of oil use. even I'm asking if i choose mineral oil also can use till 10k interval but not suitable if severe usage. lastly i choose semi because worried mineral did not long last till 10k km. I still don understand why Plotong took a step back on this.Even bawah pokok magician only extend semi usage to 7k. That's it. I can't imagine semi doing 10k intervals |

QUOTE(dares @ Oct 29 2013, 10:01 AM) QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Oct 29 2013, 10:05 AM) Those bawah pokok one do based on experience only. If change technology or engineering change, dia got know about this meh? If like that, does that mean FS can use for 20k ? Furthermore, I don think oil & lubricant company will improve their lubs to last longer. Else the engineer need to answer to the BOD why the hell you invent a lub to last longer. So now business drop because everybody using the oil for so long. Improve with more haily advanced additives to prevent wear&tear, withstand higher temp. and etc. then yes. |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Oct 29 2013, 10:06 AM) 1st day saw Red SV and Standard I sudah rage sampai sekarang funny though, I have yet to see a Red Exec. At mai home minister house neighbourhood there, got 1 white SV. 1st time I saw, ok standard white SV. Next day, change standard spork rim 3rd day, change to those 6.5jj, 7jj (dono what they are called but its those ah beng rims la) etc spork rim. 4th, the exhaust bent down to 45 deg. then remained as it is. not long after that, the black boot lid for SV now DIY sprayed to white. SV badge removed. was like wtf from far looks like Standard / Exec. from near, D|U, the lid look so d@mn fugly. 2 different colours. what's the big deal if you are driving a SV, its still a gaga for god sake This post has been edited by ruby1288: Oct 29 2013, 10:30 AM |

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Oct 29 2013, 10:23 AM) can remove ka? cheapest way is use touch up paint lo...the free of charge way is to just accept it since just small dots... if the dots reach until steel then cannot leave it. nanti become tin milo karat.if white dots then ok coz IINM the white is the primer/pre-coating for paint. |

QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Oct 29 2013, 10:30 AM) You are not even a 2 bit automotive engineer and you questioning technology which can improve in leaps and bounds. Technology need to improve by your expectations meh? And WTF is BOD? Body Of Dicks? "no so big kap la, jumping on the streets" improve like bawah pokok 5k to 7k, then I can trust (with reliable sos). and yes, Board of Directors. unfortunately, even in technology related business, its not viable to create a product that can last extremely longer than what market has or a product that last forever. otherwise, you are just destroying the market all together. who's going to buy replacement products if the ori is so good that it last forever. business will be affected if the product can last so long and nobody buys replacement parts. U dont need to be a auto engineer to question about oil and lubs tech. Not even a mechanical or chemical engineer. The correct term to use should be a Tribologist / Tribology Engineer. Why I said so ? Its because my final year thesis is actually doing Tribology Research and Experiments for a Lubricant Company, ROCOL UK. United Kindgom bukan Ulu Kelang And because I was the one who first started the project, though I have grad, I was still informed about the progress of the current research done in my Uni. QUOTE(Xorcist @ Oct 29 2013, 10:46 AM) If use touch up paint, after awhile will be able to see the different shades compared to the original color right? from far, not easy spot the dots that you have covered with touch up paint.Anyway, any recomended place to go to for this kinda stuff? my location is subang/damansara. p/s i cannot accept it, that's why i came here to ask u sifus. lolz from near, not so easy to spot, unless you know exactly where are they. from close up, unfortunately, the difference is very distinguishable unless you apply few layers of touch up paint, but its not so easy as is said. because its very difficult to do so. might looks more fugly than what you did with 1 layer only. so bear with them at least they covered your chipped dots. we got no choice since our road so many stones carried by funker lorries with undercarriage and tyres not thoroughly washed before leaving site.
