But got achievement for completing your set (plus full pick of all the cards for any deck), I also almost complete my set, just missing a few legendaries and 1 epic .... makes me wonder how to complete the gold set

But it helps to have good cards simply because you can build better constructed decks and you have better chance of winning in dailies, which the gold help you sponsor for Arena, and the winnings in Arena sponsor back your card collection via pack wins.

I registered since Alpha time, only recently got my beta key... was worth the wait, so hang in there they may just open the gate after Blizzcon next month.

Blizzcon is constructed, players must have 3 different decks and best of 5 wins. Interesting rules is that if a player lose a round, he can't use that deck anymore and have to switch. Looks interesting, and showcase the different pro deck choices

Is it me or the current meta is Pallys? Been playing 10 games since yesterday and 8 are pallies!

Yesterday had a game with DonL, shield was up to 20 points and didn't topdeck sheild slam on time

Hopefully next update will have spectator mode so can see people games.

Gents and ladies, finally finish my collection... onward to goldies! though the reward for the achievement quite underwhelming (100Gs really?)

Interesting fact, gold cards count towards your total card collection, as I've still have a balance left of 1600 dust budgeted for a normal Gelbin (since I got the limited gold one from the first 2 packs)

Yes correct explanation of the mechanics of Faceless. Also if you bounce it back to your hand it will remain as it last copied.

Overload mechanic is like credit card, buy now... pay later and yes you'll really pay early game when it disrupt your game momentum. But having said that, almost all of shaman's overload is quite good, essentially the initial cost you pay is worth the 'lockdown' next turn so this is good mechanic in mid range and control shaman decks. Top of the pile of overload cards are:

1. Stormforged Axe - 2 mana (1) for 3/2. Deal 3 damage for 2, then deal 3 for 1 mana.
2. Feral Spirit - 3 mana (2) - 2 2/3 wolves with taunt. 1 for 2 deal.
3. Lightning storm 3 mana (2) - deal 2-3 all enemy minions, cheapest AoE in game
4. Doomhammer 5 mana (2) 2/8 with windfury. Deal's 4 damage per turn with 2 swings, worth it.

Don't expect to work well in aggro thought, where you need fast critters each turn.

On its own it is good, but usually get answered with a frog, sheep, shadow word death, BGH, etc before it can do anything. I would rate it higher if it does something on the turn it come out, of course my 2 cents for constructed. In arena is a solid pick.
