QUOTE(volrath @ Feb 4 2014, 12:23 AM) Wow...I never got past 5 wins...god damn..with a priest some more you... your arena skills are >9000 @.@ Congrats man! Haha thanks man! To be honest, my arena stats aren't good. My best so far was 11-3 and other times I score like 3-6 wins. My focus is on Arena anyways since it levels the playing field. I can't compete with high rank players with like 10 legendaries in a deck so this is my only way out LOL.

QUOTE(volrath @ Feb 4 2014, 04:11 PM) @feng grats on Ysera Guys, I wanna craft another Legendary. It's a battle between: Sylvanas VS Cairne Which one would you craft and why? My deck is leaning towards Paladin because it's what currently I'm playing but I should have access into making other decks too, so I don't mind the choice being, playable with all decks instead of just 1. But I strongly believe, Sylvanas and Cairne are both playable in all decks, a staple. Thanks! It's tough to match Sylvanas and Cairne cause both are pretty solid. In my opinion, I'd take Cairne cause 1) High value if not silenced (6 cost for 2 4/5s, 2) Immunity towards Pain, Death and Shadow Madness and 3) Even though silenced, it's still not too shabby as a 4/5, albeit 1 damage short compared to Sylvanas and lastly 4) You got to pick the right situation and scenario to fully utilize Sylvanas' deathrattle, sometimes you just get crappy minion due to RNG. That said it's just my 2 cents though, hope it helps =)

QUOTE(volrath @ Feb 4 2014, 05:01 PM) Hey! Pull up a chair by the hearth! @jian90 / darkvamp86: Thanks for the feedback. Looks like the cow is in favor. However, to my next riddle...lol. The female cow! Sunwalker..now it's a battle between husband and wife lol! (6) Sunwalker 4/5 Divine Shield + Taunt VS (6) Cairne Bloodhoof 4/5 Deathrattle: 4/5 They're soooooo identical but with very small difference. 1) Both negate lethal damage. 2) Both are neutrals 3) Once silenced: both are 4/5 beef. 4) Both are removal magnets. 5) Trade 2 for 1. The only downside for Sunwalker is... 1 ping can render her vulnerable. (Fireblast / Arcane Shot / Smite / any miniature) So for this ONLY set back, I am about to pay 1600 dust. Let's debate Well in this case in terms of value, Sunwalker is a far cry to Cairne. How often does it get a "true" 2 for 1? Considering there are mages, druids and if you want to consider Paladin's Initiate, that can ping off the shield, you're looking at more of a 1.5 for 1, or less. Cairne on the other hand requires a "real" spell or minion to get rid of him. Plus not being a taunt means he can be protected and go rampant whereas Sunwalker is attackable right from the start.

QUOTE(Phonzy @ Feb 5 2014, 01:20 PM) so guys, this is my shaman deck that i've build from experience playing in arena, ranked and such, i have not seen nor read any forums/videos, i'm just solely carrying myself by using my past experience as a Magic The Gathering player, lol. I'm open to suggestions, please feedback. My shaman deck are as follow: Earth Shock x2 Lightning Bolt x2 Ancestral Spirit x2 Ironbeak Owl x2 Feral Spirit x2 Hex x2 Lightning Storm x2 Harvest Golem x2 Unbound Elemental x2 Bloodlust x2 Abomination x1 Azure Drake x2 Earth Elemental x2 Argent Commander x2 Fire Elemental x2 Al'Akir the Windlord x1 I seem to be doing OK and climbed up to rank 18 today. However, I'm having problems with decks that deal direct damage to my face (equipping a weapon) such as Warriors. Any ways to improve this? Your deck seems pretty all rounded, good quality minions on late game. If you have problems with weapons, consider swapping Ancestral Spirits with Oozes. I also noticed you have a lot of silences. Keep the Earth Shocks and consider swapping Owls for Faerie Dragons or any 3/2 creatures. That way, you already have a pretty solid early game. Mid-game wise, throw in some decent taunts to avoid aggro namely Tazdingo. Abomination is a decent taunt but it pretty much wipes your board and your totems so you can consider swapping it for Yeti (same cost as Abom). Al'Akir is pretty meh so you can also swap him out for lets say...Cairne or Sylvanas? to support the midgame. Lastly, 2 Bloodlusts are somewhat overkill, I'd recommend 1. Other that that it looks pretty alright to me =) Just my 2 cents, I'm sure others will find a lot of criticism with my insight but hopefully it helps.

Well, as powerful as Legendaries can be, if you have 1-2 in your deck, your chances of drawing into them are rather slim. I dare say you'll have more games without them than with. Even if you did get them in your hand, you need a situation to play them well and to get max value out of the card. Game changing cards like Rag or Ysera technically eats up your entire turn so you'll still need to think twice before even playing them unless you've no other better plays.

QUOTE(Davidtcf @ Feb 17 2014, 03:18 PM) got.. priests can do it.. buff an existing minion HP to max with 2 cards, then convert the HP to be similar to ATT, then finish u in 1 turn/1 creature. (encountered an enemy that managed to buff his minion to 40+ attack... lols gheyed) You mean something like this? Did this a few days ago, just a bit sad I didn't draw into the Alchemist or Inner Fire. Anyways it proved too hard for my opponent to get rid of it Turtles FTW!
