Most of the time you get what you pay for, pay good price then should get good tires, pay cheapo price then get lousy tires, like Achilles! Falken also mostly not that good, maybe the only one a bit decent is the Japanese made Falken Azenis, similar like Toyo T1 Sport only. The other Falken series are lousy too.

Expensive, others have reported to get that size for low rm200 only. The price you paid usually is the range for Michelin PS3, so others should be cheaper.

Wah below rm300 for such size I don't know leh. I use the exact same size, CSC5 made in Europe, paid rm500 per tire almost 1.5yrs ago. Maybe check prices for GT Radial HPY. Or low end models of Dunlop, Goodyear, Hankook or Toyo. If you are around Klang Valley, maybe can try ask OS Autocare, or ping Nestum (Kena Lee Hin) in this forum.

sWell I got them at a relatively much cheaper price actually than other places, it should've been even more expensive (close to rm600 or even more) but it's worth every penny I spent, seriously! Simply the best tire I've ever used so far.

It's not just about driving fast actually. Most people are just not willing to spend on better tires coz you all think it's not that important, just a piece of rubber than will get worn off anyway hence all give the same reasoning that you're just driving slow2. However it's also about giving you that extra bit of safety margin coz excellent tires like that allow you to control your car much better to avoid accidents and brake/stop faster, so just think about that. That's why I always recommend to buy the best you can afford, not to be a cheapskate on tires. If really no money (which in most cases I don't believe so) then better down grade to smaller sizes so can still use much better tires.

I dunno the 225 50 17 falken azenis pt722 still got stock or not. I bought 1.5years ago about rm360 included gst (a+b) , from Exellent speed kepong .

I cant really tell the good of this , i clocked around 5000km only . But i feel that is cheap enough for its range (thailand made) 😀

Overall: Same feel as Formula D5. Great dry and wet grip, silent... Best bang of the bucks.
