Hi Everyone.. I am Newbie here, I just would like to get some confirmation with all the brother and sister here.

I have a OCBC Titanium card since May 2013. Now the benefits changed from 5% cash back to all unlimited 1%. I have credit limit of only RM4,000

The scenario...
I would like to pay for my Master Degree tuition fees with around RM10,000 with OCBC Titanium card, can I bank in money in advance to make my credit limit in my card increase to RM10,000 in order to make the payment?

If yes, how much will be the cash back i earn? RM4000 x 1% based on my approved credit limit or all the total amount, RM10,000 x 1%

Hope to get the reply from you all soon.

Thanks for help!
*
Yes, you may pay in advance to reach the RM10,000, the rebate will be count as RM10,000 x 1%.

What's the difference between Titanium and World Card?
*
WMC RM388 annual fee vs Titanium free.

WMC 1.2% unlimited cash rebate vs 1.0% from Titanium

WMC free 2 entry into Plaza Premium Lounge KLIA.

WMC free travel insurance if charge full on Air Fare.

Other than that, not so sure.

you purposely erased it off? or it comes that way originally?
*
the card originally came with a gloss black OCBC logo on it, after few swipe, some word wear off, left like OCB haha

then i just use eraser to wipe off the remaining.

thanks..just call the CS..and i can make the full settlement without penalty charge...
then I can use 12 months 0% transfer from MBB amex to transfer to OCBC..
*
MBB balance transfer has an upfront 3% charge. 21 months x RM233 = 4893, If you BT full, 3% @ 146.79, that's 3 year worth of GST.
