Apple staff rolling what I thought initially was breakfast. But it was a cart with boxes with card slip dictting what config of iPad Air you wanted. Plus free mineral water. tongue.gif

This was what I initially wanted. Later I asked for the WiFi model since getting the Cellular model requires signing up data contract with AU, NTT DoCoMo or Softbank.

Apple Store Ginza has 4 floors. Ground floor and 4th floors for purchase, activation and product setup. I had a nice chat with Matsushige who is fluent in English, while he sets up another guy's iPad Air speaking to him in Nippon. After that, I settled down to the 3rd floor where they have this lovely auditorium with velvet seats where you get free one-to-one and product tutoring on how to make full use of your new iPad Air. This is only Apple Store I've been with such facility like auditorium open to public.

My Space Grey iPad Air. I had to rush back to the hotel in Narita airport to fly my plane to Los Angeles.

Sedentary excitement in Tokyo, more Hollywood-style excitement in LA. Feels like in the movies. tongue.gif

It's now the fastest iOS device I have in my possession. It's faster than my iPhone 5S.

450grams versus 300 grams. Light enough for me to sell off my iPad Mini (non retina). The iPad Mini looks smaller because the side bezels are smaller, but personally to me, screen real estate is important too.
