The usb 3.0 cable does not charge any faster unless you are using it on a PC with Usb 3 port
Probably your older cable condition has deteriorated
I am still using an older HTC n sometimes blackberry cable to charge this phone. charging time to full under 3 hours. I don't like using the supplied cable as it is too tight a fit.
I used it only to flash the phone as my notebook has a Usb 3 port to have faster data transfer.

Dude...thanks, but please note that mods do not like such posts....and I clearly stated in my last post in v8 that such posts should not be made........

... and with a few mods having the Note 3.. rest assured that there is always one lurking around the corner in this topic...

Contemporary high performance devices should not be charged via pc usb ports as the output is usually only 500ma or less, even for usb3 ports. Either use wall chargers with correct amperage or use cables that do not have the data pins.

nope, it's oleophobic coated, which reduces fingerprint but the coating wears off as time passes
