Hey all!

I have officially joined the Senn club with CX300, purchased thru Jenssen in the Bulk Section....yeah!

Here is what I wrote in his bulk thread:

First impression, treble a bit high, like the Sony MDR-EX51, but not as ear-piercing. Bass it good, tight, but not as deep as my Grado SR60s

The wires are rather stiff (which I think is good) compared to my EP-480. The build looks solid, especially the wire mesh that is covering the driver. I like the part where the wire comes out of the phones, where there is a 2cm tension/wire-wrap to help prevent the wires ripping out of the earphones in case of accident wire-trip.

Since this is my first canalphone, I will still need to get used to the "endoscope" effect where you can hear your body movement brushing against the wires. I guess I'll still keep my EP-480 for gym and workouts.

My other complaint is that the gap between the silver ring and the body, is not the same between the left and right. On my unit, the right ear's gap seem to be bigger.

BTW, I have talked to one of the distributors of Senn products, and she quoted me RM310. I got mine, including shipping for RM185

Day 2:

Still cannot find the mids, sounds a bit shallow in this department. Maybe it's the deep bass and the precise high that overcame the mids. Oh yeah...deep bass...think SR60, 85% there (IMHO Gauge) in terms of depth... nice!

As usual, my standard bass track = Daniel Powter, Song 6. Very very deep and long bass throughout the song.

I have seen the poster up in MediaPlex KLCC, probably they have the price list guar. Why don't u just go for CX300?
