Universal in an Audiophile sense.

But not so universal in the empire23 sense where i like to throw in the occasional Animu faggish OST tune, or a radio pop tune just to lighten the mood and bop to the beat.

Well in my opinion, Audio setups are vaguely like PC ones as well, ever play a game after installing a new graphics card and saying "shitcock, it's still slow!", well, might be the CPU being the bottleneck i guess.

Just my 2 cents, because that's one theory that hasn't been proven yet.

That's why we should learn to get through from low-end to high-end in slowly progress.

btw, headphone price won't drop like handphone price.

I only have 1 problem with that, not the cash right now, but the comfort, i have this problem where my ears are pretty sensitive to presure and plus i have problem with intense flaking of my inner ear skin, and with those pads pressing againts my ear.... well, i don't mind if they came out with RS-1 with Sennheiser earpads in a circuaural config. Well, let's just say i'd kill for a GS-1000 but not an RS-1.

PPAv2 is solid state amp, SOHA is a tube amp. the difference is huge

frankly, i prefer px100 over ksc75....i have a major wiring problem with that koss...and the clips keep coming out lol....

the difference is quite obvious but only in the sense that the hd600 is even more grainy than the 650 and the bass doesnt boom as much as the 650 yet maintaining the very bottom end. both are very veil imho

the sennheiser veil is not obvious unless u tried many other different phones. the grados will show the senn veil right away, at the time I compared the PX100 to the SR60 some time ago, I was already sold by the fact that the px100 is veil like hell.

After I got the MS2i..the contradiction is even more significant. I didn't like either, so they both had to go.

it was the K701 that replaced my 650, the RS-1 was simply a second child.
