HD595 and HD650 owner here..well frankly i think sennheiser quality is dropping and well i prefer Audio-Technica anytime..

too bad that i've never heard of the 595 and it's not sold locally, msot comments from head-fi says that the difference aint huge...similar to the sony SA1k and SA5k.

when i said 5x5, i meant 555/595. so yes, the 555 comes with a table clip. it depends on the batches. the 5x5 that i bought some time ago didnt come with a table clip, but someone else who bought it online came with a clip.

well, they say the new batch comes with the headphone holder like 595.

some 555 comes with table clip, some don't. Can't recall if it's a bonus or whatnot, but im sure I saw the same place I bought my 555 some time ago selling 555 with table clip a few weeks back.

EDIT: just to clarify a little bit more. Old version of the 555 and 595 are rated 120ohm (discontinued), newer ones are all 50ohms, changes was made about a year ago i believe, I think none of them comes with table clip back then. The 555 i bought was 50ohm without table clip. New 595 comes with table clip and is written on senn's site. some 555 comes with table clip as well. I believe both the limited edition blue 555 and red 595 also comes with table clip.

well it's adjustable, can go up to 4 inch thick of table edge... IMO that's big enough for any type of commercial table you can find in the market.
