For those Inspira owners who are still on Stock 16" Rims.
What tyres are you using?
Mine is long over due and i am looking to change but need some review.
Standard Continental CC5 is not too bad but I want to explore others.

Size 205 / 60 / R16 available in the market
Yokes C Drive 2
Continental CC5
Michelin XM2
Michelin Primacy 3ST
Goodyear Eagle Efficient Grip

Also need some sifoo advice on,.. IF i were to change to 225 / 55 / R16, possible ?
Technically speaking my wheels will be out of the arches by 2cm or so, right ?

With 222 / 55/ R16 i have more choices of tyres
Nexen 8000
Michelin PS3
Toyo C1S
Toyo T1
Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional
Goodyear Eagle Efficient Grip

I do not want to change or up size the rims, want to maintain the original specs due to the torque and power.
Appreciate any input & advices.

Upgrading to 17 inch won't affect your torque and power, at least this is what I felt after upgrading mine. One of the reason is that most after market rims are actually lighter than the stock 16 inch rims.

Another reason to go with 17 inch rims because you get more tyre choices and also the price difference between 16 inch tyre and 17 inch tyre is actually very minimal to no difference. Of course you get to add some aesthetic value to your car as well.

Yes you can opt for 225/55/16. It won't make your tire sticks out of the fenders as you're still using the same std rims. Among the above choices of 225 tires, the best ones would be the PS3, Toyo T1 Sport, and GY F1-D5. Maybe better avoid Nexen, already got report of buldging in from one member in ZTH forum.

Ok but diameter of 215/55/16 will be 1.1cm smaller than your std size, which means your ride height will also be reduced by 0.55cm. I think is best if you just stick to the original size of 205/60/16 then.
