QUOTE(darween13 @ Oct 23 2013, 05:59 PM) So, my understanding is correct la. BNM rule states that all banks can offer max 35 years or 65 years, whichever comes first. Yeah, I am 28 this year. So, eligible for 35 years. I think only HLB impose such rule. I am pretty sure OUB bank and Maybank can loan until 70 years.

QUOTE(darween13 @ Oct 24 2013, 09:27 AM) And also, less costly, RM10 a month = RM120 a year. That's quite alot in my opinion. Lol, different people may looks differently I presumely. RM 3,600 can exchange for full flexibility in 30 years, is worth from my perception. Just consume less 1 starbuck coffee per month can offset the fees loh.. Of course if the bank can further reduce the rate, I would be more happy...

QUOTE(darween13 @ Oct 24 2013, 04:02 PM) That's true Bro Sam, I also dont mind paying for the convenience, but IF you are not going to use the flexibility, then why pay for it in the first place. Nevertheless, my HSBC set up cost is cheaper by RM100. True bro.. Well said.. Some banker told me before, if all your salary credited in to this CA and you take out your salary in weekly basis, you also would be able to see some substantial interest saving within 20 years, is it true? Wow, then I need to submit my documents to HSBC lah..
