MTK is the 2nd largest chip manufactorer.
and a lot mobile brands using MTK . even samsung biggrin.gif

2nd largest or using by samsung doesn't always mean good.
wanna know why majority of chinese phones using mtk instead of qualcomm, or ti-omap or tegra?
because mtk is cheaper to mass produce than others.
cheaper cost=higher profit margin whistling.gif

replace samsung? i can't even understand what that means.
anyway, they didn't even follow gpl license agreement. thats another reason why manufacturers outside of china doesn't favor them instead of others. manufacturing chipset for android phone means u have to tinker and change something in android kernel which is gpl licensed, need to release that changed kernel part source afterwards, but they refuses to do so.

actually i prefer those phone tat have bigger screen, longer lasting batteries.
if both of this model combine will be gud. Anyhow, the price must be remain la~ biggrin.gif

then those lenovo phones suites u well already.
got big screen, big battery and fairly cheap too.
anyway between both the lenovo u listed, the P780 got higher capacity battery so its safe to assume that it would give u much longer battery life than the S920.
