The new product maintains the best features of its predecessor, the nGroove Snap, but has been enhanced aesthetically as well as functionally.

Paying tribute to some Mountek fans’ sophisticated design preferences, designers replaced the nGroove Snap’s yellow safety sticker with a subtle gray-on-black rendition of the classic Mountek logo to better match your car's interior. It also comes with rubberized grip material on all sides of the insertion blade to provide even stronger hold in vehicle CD slots and dashboard grooves.

Mountek’s nGroove Snap 2 neatly inserts into vehicle CD slots or existing dashboard grooves to provide a firm, stable mount for protecting and displaying digital devices on the road. Smartphones, GPS devices and other mobile devices securely attach to the mount’s magnetic-reinforced badge, permitting hands-free use while driving. Because of the patented blade-support system, installation requires no suction cups, no clips, no screw, no adhesives and no glue.

Hi, there is possibility that compass function for certain phones maybe affected. However, normal functions such as phone calls, Wifi, internet browsing, GPS, etc, will not be affected. We are not sure about its affect to Z2's compass function. However, we do have customers who own Sony Xperia Ultra Z, and todate we are not made aware of any issues. We are also using it with Note 2 and Note 3, and the compass function is working fine. If compass function is a critical/important function for you, then we would not recommend for you to use this.

Alternatively, you can consider the nGroove Grip which uses the conventional grip. Please visit our website at www.mountekmalaysia.com for further information.
