from my experience i would suggest u to get just the standard set... i bought my value set but wat i can say is, at this moment i already spent quite a mout of cash purchasing psp case, pouch, and bag.. the earphone i didnt use at all since the first time i tried it. the earphone limit the sound max 10db better get other better one. so all in all the extra psp pouch, strap and earphone i didnt use now... and soon it might be the psp it self aswell ... hehehe

most game shop selling 1.5 or oe fw. so if its already oe fw no need to do anything just use it if its 1.5 than u need to flash it to oe fw. but most of shop will offer u oe fw unless u buy frmo sony it self or from outside of country.
