Now it's time to cut out the acrylic from the big sheet I have. Cut out a square piece according to the size of the window. Then I drew the shape I wanted to fit the window. After cutting the proper shape I needed for the window. Now it's time to draw the outline for the fanhole. Then it's time to start cutting the fanhole. Here's the acrylic cut to shape with fanhole n holes for the fan mounting.

OK. Here's what I did today. Took the rough cut acrylic n traced the exact fit that I need. Drew the lines for trimming to exact size. Trimming the extra material off for an exact fit to make it look better though it's gonna b hidden behind the panel. Here's the trimmed acrylic.

QUOTE(gmail @ Jun 10 2006, 08:40 PM) @ianho can show us the panel install back 2 the case? Sry I dont haf the case. I only modded the side window. Anyway, here's how the Armor Jr looks like. It's actually the same as the normal Armor, only a bit shorter. This post has been edited by ianho: Jun 10 2006, 11:48 PM

Just curious here... last time i had mod a cheap case for the side panel ....and i used double side tape to hold it ...those strong and black in color ..
but after while when doing the cleaning ..i realise that is causes difficulty in cleaning the inner edge between the side panel and the acrylic that pasted..
dust was accumulating along the edge... ..

Same thing happens even with screw or rivet mount. Coz wherever there is a gap, dust will accumulate there. Just brush it or blow it off once in a while.
