Great thread! just found out. may i ask, what is the meaning of this

"Best way to utilise your Starbucks card RM20 x 3
With a Starbucks Card at RM60, you can
- get RM3 back (from 5% Cash-back Rebate using Maybankard 2 AMEX or OCBC Titanium MasterCard)
- get 3 Free Grande-size handcrafted beverage, upon card activation
- get 1 Free slice of cake
- get 1 Free Grande-size handcrafted beverage, when buying a Starbucks Tumbler using Starbucks Card
- get 16oz Starbucks Tumbler @ RM48
- get RM12 balance for the next Starbucks drink you buy (additional top-up with cash/CC)
Total Discount Value : 119.8%"

is that getting 3 card?

"Get a free food item* when you use your ATM card to load OR reload RM100 into your starbucks card"

It stated as OR. So for the part of "when you use your ATM card to load" it didn't stated that you need to load for an amount of RM100. So my understanding is the amount can be any amount as long as u are using ATM card etc. Or you can reload RM100 into your starbucks card using cash/credit card etc and still entitled for the said promo. That is why I'm asking. The promo advertisement is kind of confusing (atleast to me).

Thanks anyway for all feedback.

wah, not worth it. It's better that we just buy RM20 x 5 starbucks card using credit card, then we get the 5 free drink upon registration and 5 birthday cakes. In addition, we can accumulate the point on credit card biggrin.gif

You charge RM2 to the Starbucks Card only, the balance pay by cash/credit card

Which outlet you can deduct RM2 from the card then balance pay by cash? I have tried many outlet, they only let me deduct all the value in the card, then balance pay by cash.

I hope you win your "argument" based the English dependency when you are at the Starbucks Outlet.

It's suppose to read in this manner "Get a free food item* when you use your ATM card to, load OR reload, RM100 into your starbucks card"

Almost immediately on successful registration online smile.gif
The delay is probably the email verification in STep 1 of the registration.

Taken from Starbucks FB

Treat your plant to some coffee grounds! Did you know that, coffee grounds contain useful amounts of phosphorus and potassium, which are a low-level source of nitrogen and also contain minor amounts of calcium, magnesium, copper, and other trace minerals, carbohydrates, sugars, some vitamins, and some caffeine?

Anyone here got collect the coffee ground from Starbucks?

one of the reply in FB

I'm a regular collector of this fertiliser. It makes my garden and my plants really healthy and growing fast. My advise is to mix one box with 20L of water and spray or spread on the soil. First you get a healthier soil and second you can smell coffee whenever you pass by or better when it rains. In my case after passing by..I run to starbucks to get my expresso macchiato. .hihihi..

I had RM10 in my Starbucks Card.
Purchased a drink Ice Passion Lemon Tea for RM11.15. Balance paid in cash. The system did not put the Cake Slice reward after 24 hours.

I made a call to Starbucks CS and they told me I need to paid fully the drink with my Starbucks Card only entitle to Cake Slice.

I've escalated it to their manager and expect a call back by today.

Another tips to share (well it's not really a tips, but more like a reminder).

If you're in big malls that have Borders store with Starbucks (The Curve & The Gardens, Midvalley), you can get 10% off for drinks if you present your Borders member card.

Pay with your Starbucks card + additional 10% off, it's a bargain rather than purchasing the drink outside Borders.

For example, if you go to Midvalley, there are 3 Starbucks outlets there, and one of them is inside the Borders. Purchase your drink there with Borders card and it's a real bargain.

To add on to the comment above on the Border, there's actually a few Wismas around KL that gives 10% - 15% when you buy.

Though they said you must be working in the building itself, but the barista don't really check smile.gif
