Hmmm, it's slimport(HDMI tyoe) adapter support the cable from DVI direct convert to HDMI? Now my monitor is using that kind of cable since it only got DVI port and I'm use it to connect to my laptop, so I bought that kind of cable to connect And last time I got bought a MHL adapter for my Xperia SP too and tried to connect to my monitor but it can't be output (although phone is detected), after a while it just pop out one notification said that it can't output the screen
Hard to find slimport cable locally, maybe we can organize bulk order, I am quite interested in buying it too. Discussed this in v1, but it seems like it doesn't work, the reviews in amazon tell us it is not working for Nexus 7 (2013) even though it says working. But that's for direct Slimport HDMI to DVI and VGA. Senheng/SenQ outlets are selling them, just pay them a visit and pay for it if you are satisfied with the unit. Walmart doesn't ship to malaysia directly, amazon does ship to malaysia for some electronics devices but need to pay international shipping fees.
So does Slimport adapter got for microUSB to DVI one?
Yesterday, i tried another nexus 7 32GB LTE (2nd test in senQ) I updated (JLS36I Android 4.3.1) + restarted the device, still having the multitouch issue.
When I test it slowly, it rarely happen(detect 3 touches). But when I test it fast, it always happen(detected 3-4 touches). Anyone having this problem same with me? You guys is Malaysia or US version?
Mine is US set and I tested before ady once I saw this video... no that kind of problem......
I find it a little troublesome for flip cases, most probably my sleeve is coming tomorrow. my n7 has been running naked so far and i am not sure how much further i can protect if from bumps and scratches. however, i dont plan on using screen protectors, you ?
I own a magnetic flip cover and a sleeve as well (although that sleeve is for 10" netbook BTW)
what really attracted me was the display too.. looks really nice and being the first ones to receive updates how smooth is it? from reviews i can see there is still some more work to do... hows the battery life ?
even it's on stock ROM, it's already smooth enough the animation is not delay or anything when u press the things u want
1. no sound, video very smooth 2. with sound, video got a bit laggy
both mkv format, any ideas?
got use 3rd party video player? I used MX player, excellent performance (since stock player does not support MKV movie well) please note that mobile platform still not support hardware acceleration for Hi10P (10-bits) video, so if u play for 720p 10-bits it's still ok, our chipset is strong enough but 1080p 10-bits will be laggy Please note that only 10-bits ya, 8-bits is ok for all the resolution

ur anime is on which profile? as I know dice player is trying to reduce the render quality so that sometimes Hi10p 1080p MKV is able to play smooth... but unless the movie/anime u downloading is all Hi10p 1080p, if not that's no point to use that player since its render graphic pretty suxk
now I uploading a video compare Dice and MX, from the video u will see dice player it even can't play a 8-bits 1080p MKV movie as well use back the default setting (my MX even is using custom codec for the SW audio render) the movie I use is: [Coalgirls]_Evangelion_1.11_You_Are_(Not)_Alone_v2_(1920x1080_Blu-Ray_FLAC)_[0B2584EA] 12.3GB total, and it's on profile L5.1 detail: Video is uploaded

why cant use as phone?.. i still need to sms and call..sigh
SMS u still can by install 3rd party messaging apps like Go SMS Pro, call def can't as it's TABLET, not phablet. If u need something like that u can just go buy fonepad or galaxy note 8.0 Seriously I think TS (terence_nwb) need to update on first post on it's tablet not phablet

dont use HW decoder .. use SW decode .. should be ok ~
HW decoder is def fine in 8-bits video, since is supported, just need to see the player good or not good 10-bits need to use SW decoder as it can't supported on HW decoder
Bro, this is a tablet not a phablet. I challenge u. Why not u buy one LTE version & test it????
I agree with benny888, even thought you are using LTE-version, it should be not battery drain faster as hell too..... at least at 5% maximum, unless stock ROM in Nexus 7 2nd Gen LTE version is not good in battery management (but it is not)... Just my 2cent
