If u are no confident with Asus or Google, you can just go for other brand/other platform....
For me my unit are not these problem so I can't commend anything...
and that's no point you spam for some other posts for some problem which everyone is already know but we don't know what's the cause....

Clam down bro, I just do some comparison since now I'm using the phone with more way critical touchscreen problem (common problem with Xperia phone with glove mode support, so next time I'll try to avoid to buy that kind of smartphone, I still love Sony but next maybe Nexus 5 ? brows.gif ) than Nexus 7...

seems like smart wake function for smart cover not sensitive problem is fixed in the update
wifi is connected fast enough if compare to JB
YouTube stutter problem if press the screen when watching HD video is fixed
UI is more smooth, but widget is load slow if compare to JB after turn off and boot up
