hahaha.. when it comes to furniture.. we took a lot of time to survey physically to the shops and also looking at online reviews to avoid being "conned" by certain CON furniture companies who are irresponsible, for e.g. Vonza, Rozel.. We are very skeptical by the sweet talks of salesperson & wont be convinced easily unless we personally survey thoroughly to avoid being cheated by them..

Did u mean the furniture displayed at urban edge showroom is much better than the furniture that you bought?

No, showroom pieces are the same as what's delivered. I mean original pieces. But then they cost 20-30k per piece compare to 5k at urban edge.

Nowadays all China made and you will find those areas in the front and top are finished better then say the back and bottom. For example a desk, you will find the front and top and all nicely spray painted smooth but the back has some roughness feel to it. If you buy original high end pieces, all sides are done and finished the same way top notch.

Ahha.. now I understand what u r trying to say. Original pieces are definitely the best because of its excellent quality and it comes in limited quantity (That's for sure!)

Btw, thanks for the info. We will visit Quill City Mall again once we are free & most probably my parents will buy most of the furniture from STAR living because my mum likes the sofa very much (as posted in my earlier post) & also some other stuff which can match with our new home..

If there are plans to buy from them again , go visit their home branch at Viva Homes to compare prices. The salesperson has some discretionary to give further discount on certain product range so you may a chance to negotiate for better price.

Thanks for the info~ We have visited their Viva Homes branch before to compare prices & to look at their products displayed at the showroom.. but eventually we will still back to Quill City Mall's branch again if we want to buy furniture because there is one salesperson has transferred from Viva to Quill City (who is now the outlet manager for Quill's branch) who is very nice & friendly of which we have bought some chairs from him b4 during his time at Viva(we did get some good discount too)..

My mum don't really like the salesperson currently at Viva of which she had some BAD experience from them (rude & impolite), just sharing my mum's experience. Although we are staying near to Viva, we will still travel to Quill City eventually if we confirms to buy some furniture from STAR living~

Is there anything wrong mentioning good reviews for this company? Whatever items that matches with our home, we just buy it, so i dont think there is any harm for it.. As i said b4, we did bought some stuff from IKEA & harvey norman & not 100% from this company.. lol

TBH, we did survey from companies such as armado, vonza, deep living, etc b4 & we didnt like their furniture quality.. so, there's no point commenting at here. We also went to anogen b4, FYI & bought some bed frame from them..

Yup thats their address... Would say is direct distributor... Price wise, quite competitive with other furniture shop that source from them.. I get my sofa there last month during their sales....

So, can just walk in say I want buy sofa? Anymore sales?
