RM13xx for the R9 290 from lingloong. Promo price I believe since I've bundled it up with a few other parts.

Personally, not too keen on BF4. Hmmm. On a side note, is there a BF4 pack for R9 290? Thought that was for 280x and 290x at the moment?
Will be pretty occupied for the next 6 months at least on games I need to catch up with though. Haven't been playing much for the past 4 years! Maybe I'll try to catch BF4 during Steam/Origin sales then.
3x 4GB DDR3 1333mhz KVR - Bought since 2011 (explains the speeds lol) as I wanted to build a computer then, ended up holding off the purchase until today, so only now the RAMs will see some use. lol
Am contemplating another 4GB stick if I can find another similar one, pushing it up to 16GB.
Will report back when I do. Had been nearly 6 years since my last upgrade/PC purchase.
OK let's not derail the thread too much... Not seeing too many 290(x) users reporting in yet? I remember llk (290), Unseen83 (290x), and a few others from earlier in this thread. Where are the rest?

There are a lot of reports on Powercolor R9 290 being able to bios unlock to 290x, not sure if feiton is bringing in any of these Powecolor R9 290.

Can be use with other AIO cooler as well (not sure on the exact compatibility yet, wait for review). a cheaper version of gpu AIO, aside from Accelero Hybrid.

not really recommend to use universal VGA block for high end cards like R9 290s. they can't cool the VRMs which is another other than GPU which generate high heats

Tried oc'ing the R9-290 to 1150/1400 and here's valley 1.0(Extreme HD) score..Voltage at default, power limit set to 50%(Max), pretty impressive as the score already surpassed 290x

Thanks, already installed last night and voltage tweak is now online hehe...bro may I know how high your 290 can be pushed at stock volt for both core/ram?

Powertune already maxed out at 50%...I thnk maybe you see at P score instead Graphics score right? you cant compare P score since most reviewer sites are using either 4770k, 3930k or 3960X cpu while mine only 3570k. If its really a graphics score that low, then something mus be wrong...can you show me the score that I am suppose to get at this speed? 

no, power target is set to Max 50%. Please do try out and post some 3dmark11/Firestrike score ya since Acid mentioned that my score is too low at that speed. I really want to know if something goes wrong with my pc .

hmm my graphics score is ~12k already so hopefully the score is correct one and comparable to other similar system

Actually i didn't really touch the oc thing, i only try to adjust the core clock to 1100mhz at stock voltage, ram i didnt touch.

my card ASIC score is 77.6%  , does it good & how about yours? I'm looking for 290 waterblock but it seems APES didnt bring it in just yet 

Looks like my card's max OC at default voltage on air was 1160MHz only...tried 1175MHz and there's an artifact all over the screen. Will try higher OC and voltage increase once I get a waterblock later next month.

i play BF4 no game error or crash.. all smooth  MAX setting on 1080P with Anti analising on super scaling Acid say is best! AA but my game still 40-60FPS, only problem i get is keep getting SHOT!& die... (yes im bad in First person shooter)

  i thought you can unlock it by turn off-V sync..? (corret me if wrong)
