depends. mayb his meaning is lower OC headroom compare to Asus Matrix or MSI Lightning.
for me, its only warranty different and the performance of the custom cooler.

kinda. Vanila HS juz sucks to the max compare to the 1 on titan. so a custom cooler will be good smile.gif

very very nice for both working,movie and gaming. since i running on single 7970, i tone down the AA as it helps to gain back fps alot. and at 1440p reso, everything is much more crisp and nicer.
the best part of dell ultrasharp series monitor for me is matte screen. personal preference, i cant stand gloss...not sure why.
and since alot of ppl concern about the monitor ms, well my eye can't detect anything in fps and racing game (nub/normal eye) tongue.gif

by mean boot up = unable to start pc or unable to get into window?

try clearing your CMOS. try without your sound card.
i have more fans and hdd than urs n +my psu is so kns (ciplak brand and age-5yr) but still alive. n 280X has lower V than my 7970ghz @ stock.

Then you SC is conflicting with the 280x. so with either 1 in the slot, your pc able to boot up juz fine right?
driver conflict? hmm.gif or mayb your psu has degraded.

your sc is at above your gc slot right?
1st slot - SC
2nd slot - GC.

so if your SC n Hd5770 did not touch each other, can't be the rx280 able to unless d r280x has a very thick backplate that touch the SC.

For those with stock R-290X whom wish to slap in an aftermarket cooler.
I asked whether can be use with R-290X & R-290 anot, but only can be use for R-290X on Accelero Xtreme III

Also, during some big levolution moments (e.g. the crashing bridge in Dawnbreaker's C point), my whole pc slows down like in the Matrix. (once the levolution completes it returns to normal) Is this related to the lack of PhysX on AMD cards ? But it plays smooth as hell in Paracel Storm with all the water and storm stuff going on. Graphic settings are all in ultra except AA at 4x. (1920x1080) Vertical sync is turned on as well.

On a side note: HUGE fan of Dawnbreaker and Operation Locker  rclxms.gif

no. AFAIK BF 4 did not implement Nv Physx. But the engine itself depends on CPU for physx calculation. even mine get drop down to low fps at 30 when i'm nearing a vehicle with alot of smokes and particle before it blown up doh.gif

Yes and yes, hence getting the cheapest will do aside from WARRANTY. sapphire provide 2 years while the rest is 3 years.

true for every freaking things out there. you buy n sell in 1 min. different will also cause you loses. y bother about pricing after you bought it? Juz enjoy the hell out of it man. i rather game/bench than worry about losses.
