norazwan79, could you try turning off any form of anti aliasing and run the test?

Interestingly on my system, with AA off, power usage jumps up drastically running furmark (which is very counter-intuitive actually lol). Could you see if you could recreate the same issue? Thanks.

full load only 50-60C?

suggest you run mining software.. sure 80-90C already.. biggrin.gif

yeah, i found thats true for my system also, with AA off, the temp + power usage jumps more crazily. VDDC around 200W

Better if you run Unigine Valley/Heaven imo, Furmark is just unreal.

What does VDDC stands for ? I google its voltage but what 862 means lol

Core voltage, that mean your card is using 0.862v.
Is that stock setting? what card is that?

You can use GPU-Z for more accurate VDDC reading since other tools didn't count Vdroop.

7970....I plan to overclock this baby. It's a Sapphire 7970 6GB Vapor-X. What is the safe temp zone for this card ?
