Hi guys, how long do they usually take to send you the credit card? Mine was approved today and I asked if I could collect at branch, but apparently HQ already sent out or something. Long weekend ahead, gf itching to go shopping.

Hi guys, just got my AMEX and Mastercard.

I've got a question regarding my AMEX card.

1) Regarding
QUOTE
21. To earn the 5% cash back, TRANSACTION DATE shown in M2U or statement must be on weekend (Sat/Sun), posting date does not matter.
22. The 5% Cash Back payout MONTH is subjected to POSTING DATE not transaction date. You will always get the cash back on the 1st day of the following month straight after the POSTING DATE. Here's a detail example by ronnie

How does this work ? Does it depend on our monthly statement or by month? If say someone's billing statement is from 15th to 15th of each month, how does it work?

NOT monthly statement

Okay.

So say I get my statement on every 15th. So that does NOT affect the Monthly Cash Rebate ?

Example,

Statement from Jan 15th to Feb 15th. Cash Back for the whole of Jan (RM50) will be accounted for on the 1st or 2nd of February?

Yes.  Bear in mind, you need to spend Rm1000 using amex on weekend(Sat or Sun) using Amex.
The cash back will credit back to you regardless ur statement date..

Okay. Thanks for clearing it up biggrin.gif

Hi guys,

I have a question, I saw on the first post that we can use maybank2u for certain services (DBKL etc), how do we do it? I've usually used maybank2u (savings) to pay my bills. Since I've obtained my AMEX card, I'd like to use it instead.

Thanks

same way of paying via m2u. just choose amex rather than savings account.
*
ahh. thanks. was playing around last night and found it. it'll only appear if the payee allows AMEX. thanks biggrin.gif

Guys,

Within Maybank2u, to pay DBKL summons, to whom should I pay to?

DBKL (bukan hasil) OR (hasil)?

as far as i know, you have to go to the DBKL counters to pay summon, not possible via internet banking/myeg etc.
*
Places to use your AMEX based on the URL, DBKL is listed as one of Maybank's payees. Also, I can choose to pay to them. I just don't know which one to pay to

if u did try to look further and take the trouble to login m2u and tried it out, u would have know

that after you select the payee for DBKL, there's type of payment to be select as well, and none is for compound.
*
I did not proceed further AFTER logging into m2u and when I reached the payee choosing area, there's 2: DBKL (hasil) and DBKL (bukan hasil), then I stopped and asked before proceeding further. And at that particular page, I could still select my payment method ( savings/master/visa/amex ). And then I stopped because like I said, I didn't know which to select. So I'm sorry if I DIDNT take the trouble to LOGIN to m2u AND TRIED IT OUT.

AFTER reading your post, I've tried it and I know now, that I cant. so THANKS.

Try to play nice, I didn't know, so I asked. That's the whole point of having a forum, no? It was just a harmless question.

May I know which card center did you apply?
I was told by 1U card center that they only process during weekdays, surprised you can get on a Saturday.
*
They process the applications on office hours. However, once done, they will pass it to a courier. If the courier work Saturdays, then one should be able to receive it, even if it's on a Saturday. That's what I got from calling them up prior to receiving mine

@razorboy, perhaps forumer doesn't have prior experience for bill payment to DBKL.

DBKL (Bukan Hasil) - Bayaran Balik Pinjaman Pelajaran, Bayaran Balik Rawatan Hospital, Ganti Rugi Ikatan Kontrak

DBKL (Hasil) - Sewa Harta - Penilaian & Pengurusan Harta, Sewaan Rumah Pangsa, Yuran Perkhidmatan Rumah Jual, Faedah Yuran Perkhidmatan Rumah Jual, Bayaran Insuran Rumah Jual, Bayaran Cukai Tanah Rumah Jual, Sewaan Kedai/Kilang Bandar Tun Razak

No summon payment is allowed via M2U. Need to go to DBKL offices.

Ahh. Got it now. Thanks.
