5% rebate, depend on when they process auto debit.. like last month, i'm lucky because celcom process it on weekend, so i get the 5% rebate from maybank.. but this month they process on weekdays, so no 5% rebate from maybank.. but for celcom, if you sign up auto debit can enjoy 5% from celcom iteself.. if i'm lucky, i will get 5% rebate from celcom and another 5% rebate from maybank  thumbup.gif

i'm using postpaid celcom, and my billing date is at 18th of every month. So if I registered for the auto-debit, plus i'm paying using AMEX, and the process date is on weekend, so i'll enjoy 10% cashback issit? hmm.gif

in short, yes you will get 10% cashback if the process date fall on weekend

but then how can we know the process date by Celcom? Like in my case, my billing date is on 18th. hmm.gif

for auto-billing, we cannot know when is the actual process time.. it is up to the system of the biller to process the payment.. but for my celcom bill, i can see that it will process 3 days after the billing date.. but this is still not firm.. but i dont really care because if opt for autobilling, can get 5% rebate from celcom and might get another 5% from amex.. but if you manually pay every month using amex, you need to physically go to the centre just to get the 5% rebate from amex..
*
either way you'll get the 5% cashback, and once in a while may get max 10% cashback right? biggrin.gif

since you really don't have it, you may just try to submit with whatever you have.
if they really need it, they will request from you.

went 1U to apply MBB2 Card today, all done within 2 hours time. Pretty good I would say  rclxms.gif  And surprisingly, among 3 of my CC, MBB most generous in terms of CL compared to OCBC and SC.. took VISA instead of MC as my OCBC and SC are MC.

SC: 143% of salary
OCBC: 171% of salary
MBB: 200% of salary

sorry, noob question here.

when we're applying for the cards, either online or at centre, how can we set the monthly due date for payment?

dont worry about this...they will set for you, if you want to change, call them to request

owh, so if the date given is not our preference, we can just call them and ask to change right?

thanks smile.gif

Where did you applied your cards?

My application was rejected earlier this month, I believe because I didnt provide them my bank statement. I just applied with salary slips, offer letter, epf statement, and degree copy. blush.gif just been working for 3 months.
