i registered for Pay-by-Phone service via MyMaxis last Thursday, on Tuesday i received a SMS saying my registration is under process. does this mean I'm waiting for the 6 digit PIN in order to use the automated phone payment service? because I phoned CS just now to confirm if my AMEX is ready to use and he said yes. so i proceeded with the phone payment and was stuck in entering the 6 digit pin level. pls advice

apparently there has been a glitch in their system prompting my registration unsuccessful (CS just got back with me) and i have to re-register again for Pay-by-Phone service. i'm guessing registration first then pay via phone with a PIN is the automated way? and your way is the manual method where we have to call in advance so that AMEX will call back us to transact?

Yea I oso receive SMS stating that each enrollment for auto-debit will get a one-off rm15 and if enroll to 2 services you will get a rm20 starbuck card.

Anyway, paying TNB/Unifi at weekend will get you 5% rebate for each month. So I think this deal is more worth for services like Astro and Telco bills which we can't pay through M2U. If the auto-debit date fall on weekend, then we can get 5% also.

p/s: Suggestion when paying Unifi bills, or any other bills... since final 5% CB amount is rounddown by 2 decimals, better to pay the bills with round numbers (e.g. RM149, RM150, RM151, etc) instead of the actual amount stated in the bills (e.g. RM149.10, RM150.20, etc). This way, you get max CB amount without losing any teeny weeny cents due to rounddown calculation.

I remember I have reported this issued to card center before, and they (bank) need to check with that machine (shop), probably will need to take some time to investigate, in the same time there will be charge you admin fee right? Do you charge by bank??
