bro, last time I wanted some too, but the price put me off...
Bulgin Switches, approx RM70 a piece. unless you're really lucky, maybe RM50 a piece.
*
That is if you buy a single Piece & get it shipped it over here from the U.S./U.K./Canada/etc. Anyone actually thought of bulking these items? unsure.gif

I'm quite sure if we could bulk it, it'll cost less than RM20 each (not the illuminated ones of course sweat.gif ). Check these out for the prices:

-> MNPC Tech
-> BULGIN Pushbutton Switch

The illuminated ones.... sweat.gif

Anyway, you think anyone from U.S./U.K./Canada/etc. could source some out for us? Could make a few bucks in the process biggrin.gif

I think I may be able to get those switches.
There's a Bulgin connector distributor in Singapore, and last time I was asking for those waterproof connector for an Underwater Robot.

Please tell me a minimum quote.
I'll email them straightaway!

Hope I can help.
Do wait for my post if anything good happens!

QUOTE([Top-Gun] @ Jun 13 2006, 06:51 PM)
Err.. not much of a website they have there... huh? sweat.gif
Anyway, if possible, maybe you can inquire for a quotation for orders in 10, 50 & 100 pieces. This way, we might be able to have a rough idea of what prices we are looking at per/quantity biggrin.gif

QUOTE(bahgger @ Jun 13 2006, 11:14 PM)
I don't see why you all dislike the fact that it's a momentary switch, as it works perfectly fine just like any other switch, and I've tested it on both a DFI Lanparty NF3 and Asus A8N-SLi motherboard.
*
Dude, maybe he doesn't intend to use them as PC power switches? If you're going to control a CCFL or some other electronics that require a latching power switch, then he's on the right track I supposed. sweat.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

THey asked for a minimum quote.
Since pricing varies with quote quantity.
So asked them in turns of 20,50 or 100.
Do wait for the news!

Actually, I've gone around emailing a few companies as well... no reply so far sad.gif
Hope you have better luck thumbup.gif

i trying to bulk this swithces but need the number of SERIOUS buyers ...coz need to ask moq and pricing...pls gime a pm if u r Seriously interested....
*
Dude, can't you just ask for the price in order sizes of 10, 50 & 100 units?
I'm sure it's possible. At least then, we'll have a rough idea of what prices to expect.
I'm not sure many us would want to say "YES" now & later having to pay an exhobirant price for the switches, right?

Hope you could just find out 1st. Then the orders should start coming in smoothly biggrin.gif

guys i will start a thread when i have confirmed the bulk....
*
So Mr. lolhalol, any updates for us?

OK, back to SwithcMods, anyone actually thought about actually wiring these switches? As for as I know, the LED's within the illuminated versions of these swithces are standard 5v runners. I think it involves powering 2 extra feet at the base of the switches. Correct me if I'm wrong, OK?

And I think the accessory below makes a good addition to having these switches.
--> Switch Mounting Plate

What say you guys? Go original or retail (as above)?

i might be interested to get the one MetalZone bulking, but i am worrying i dont know how to install it since my power switch is spoilt now.....

And one thing i worried is space clearance lolx
*

Installing the power switch souldn't be much of a problem. Just remove the wires from the current switch & fit or solder them to the new switch's leads. There are no polarity concerns with these switches. thumbup.gif

As for clearence, it depends on what type of casing/switches you're using now. Under most circumstances, there would be some amount of modifications needed in order to accomodate these switches. Worst case scenario, you'll have to utilize one of your 3.5"/5.25" bays to hold the switch(es) tongue.gif

Here's another switch-type which you guys might find interesting:
--> Fighter Switch

There seems to be someone to contact on the page. Anyone in Taiwan now? tongue.gif

Anyway, anyone got any suggestions on where these type of switches would look nice on the case? OR has anyone done mods with these switches before? Come on guys! biggrin.gif
