I tried googling and found this
http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t284288.html
but it doesn't work for me.

Is there any other possible way so I can edit .mov files using VirtualDub??

BTW, how do we download files from the Apple trailer site other than using the Pro/paid version of Quicktime??

Thx.
P/S: I dun wan to do any converting as it degrade the video quality.

It should be able to work. U need to dl couple of software. Virtualdub only support few types of video format, avi, .dat. 1st, u need to dl avisynth software. If u got read that site, u should know that u need to type the script in notepad and save it as .avs format.

For mp4, mkv, mov etc, using DirectShowSource("yoursourcepath")
Den save it as .avs format

Open that avs file in virtualdub. U should be able to encode it smile.gif

Avisynth is frame server only. It's not bundled with VDub.Get is here :

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57023

(Stable version is 2.5.6)

FYI, I manage to import *.MOV into VirtualDubMod (modded VirtualDub) using Avisynth. But, still failed to convert into *.AVI file. It's partially completed.Sound also gone.

Sound also gone?? Maybe its not supported
Thats why its best to extract the audio out first before importing any videos into VDub
