that must be some real strong lube you're using if lube is the cause of it.

very likely its either your chain or cassette is worn, or simply because you might have accidentally pulled the RD cable out of place

a seatpost is a seatpost... don't stereotype it... if you use dropper post on your RB... then, maybe it's gonna be a bit weird...
what we term chain skip is when a chain link jumps ahead a tooth or so under load and causes your pedal stroke to lunge forward... are you sure you are having that symptom or do you mean that you derailleur is out of tune and your chain is rubbing? where you get those tak-tak-tak sounds...

and if you want to be anal about weight... there is no point in stating cleat weights because there is 3 types of cleats for shimano... the  fixed 0, 4.5 and 9 degree float cleat... and i bet there is a gram or 2 difference between them....

the cleats weigh a lot more at around 100++ gram per pair as they are made of metal...

then i actually prefer the alloy bodied one... that one lives forever...

carbon one, maybe not...and you end up paying more just to shave what is not important.....

zero stainless steel is 299SGD.. titanium if i am not wrong is high 400SGD

in KL... you can get chrome-moly in Meng Thai kota damansara... it is listed for 600 bucks... but chromo is made in china as opposed to US for the rest of the range above chromo...
