QUOTE(butthead @ Nov 3 2013, 12:29 AM) u should surf less 9gag... That's the reason. I have doubts now.it's up to each their own preference.. it's the same as cleat design as some like float some like fixed cleats... some people like absolutely tight fitting shoes because they don't want sloppy pedal movements.... but generally.. having a tiny little bit of wiggling space all around is good as it is a bit more comfortable as most cycling shoes don't really stretch much and if it is absolutely tight, it might cause uncomfort on some days... also factor in sock thickness as not all your socks are going to be the same... everyone needs a tenga... then F@K THEM.... model is not of the concern... age is... preferable to be under 2 years from manufacturing date, there are factors of glue and stuff that might not allow the shoe to last as long if it leaves the shelve after being kept there for too long... you can find out the discontinuation and assume from the year it was discontinued... QUOTE(butthead @ Nov 9 2013, 10:11 AM) yup... it's not as hard as nokon... but not as easy as conventional cables and housing...you better make sure your bike shop knows what they are doing or you will have problems with the installation and sometime down the road... they didn't make the liner that well and needs some added work in order to make it work properly which is not shown in the installation guide... 290 is for a set (most likely shifter) in undiscounted price just to go velocipede and they have it there... they are the ones responsible for bringing it in... they are even listed in the aligator site...less than 400 can settle the whole cabling system... just bring your bike along and let them install it... just tell them to find a way to flare the liner at the shifter end... QUOTE(mrjgx @ Nov 10 2013, 01:07 AM) The thing I hate about coming back with this cycling activity is...it makes me think that there are still a plenty of upgrades that need to be done on my bike.. that's your mind playing with you it should be just go out and ride and not thinking about upgrading too much. |
