Hha! Congrats rifasha. New TS, new style. Thx liez for all the great threads! You've been a great carrier of our AST, now its time for you to join the normal fans. hehe.
Man Utd fans having a field day over Wilshere's general opinion of England bred national players. I guess Man Utd fans are so gullible to be trolled by English journalism.
Januzaj may be a good player, but its only been one good game. Suddenly he's the best player on the world? Haha....reminds me when they got that guy Manucho. Even before he arrived at Old Trafford, some deluded fans created a banner of him being a legend. That's what glory does to your head sometimes.
What Wilshere said was quite true. England is having a serious problem with nurturing local talents for their future football.
Reminds me of a certain Italian bloke, Macheda izzit?
Don't forget that Bebe kid. What a great purchase that was! Newest is that Fabio (the other Da Silva kid) isn't happy with his pplaying time in Man Utd and considering to return back to Fluminese. So many wonderkid....so little time. We could practically have some little shipping over there judging from the so many benchwarmers in their team....heck, Shinji Kagawa probably wouldn't mind playing for Swansea judging from his lack of chances.
It looks like we are not the only team who are unfortunate with injuries.
Here are the currently injured Dortmund's players: -Gundogan -Reus -Sahin -Kehl -Hofmann -Bender -Sokratis -Schmelzer -Piszczek
Only Sokratis and maybe Bender will be back when they play us on 22/10.
Pergh....did the team bus hit an elephant or what? Well its probably good news, but you don't suppose Klopp is playing mind games with it? I don't know how managers play mind games though. All I can say is that "bola itu bulat"....anything can happen. Arsenal is without Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, yet we're playing like the Invincibles. So they might still have a strong team despite not having the strongest individuals. Plus, its a two legged match, so either they play a defensive type of game or they play fast counter-attacking football.
Arteta took over Song's position right? Lst time I hate it whenever ANC season, a lot of our african players went missing, including Song. Kinda happy we don't have that problem anymore.
Heard that Rooney rejected his new offer deal. Hmm.... do I hear January fire sale? Just watch England game. Despite the scoreline, they missed a lot of chances in front of the goal. Could've been 6-1 if it were Germany.
wow, Giroud cheeky lob. Only a confident player can do that at such a high stake game. But its definitely a team effort. Ribery did very well to bring the ball to the front with awesome individual skills.
Julian Draxler has told DerWesten that he dreams of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Draxler, 20, is one of the many up-and-coming stars in German football. The versatile Schalke midfielder, who currently plays on the left wing, has impressed during the opening matches of the season.
Yet to score in the Bundesliga this season, the youngster, who has previously been linked to Real Madrid, has not only scored in both of Schalke’s Champions League group games, but also secured the Royal Blues’ passage into the group stage in the qualifier at PAOK Salonika.
That night, Draxler scored once and set up another to secure a 3-2 victory in Greece, with the Royal Blues reduced to ten men following Jermaine Jones second booking of the night.
“I think, that world class players always play in the best clubs in the world,” Draxler said ahead of Germany’s World Cup qualifier against Ireland, where he is set to take Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus’ place on the left wing.
“For me those clubs are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern [Munich], Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United.”
During the summer of 2013, Draxler reportedly turned down offers from big La Liga and Premier League clubs, who had hoped to trigger a 45.5 million euros release clause in his contract, which expires in 2018.
Quizzed if he wants to make a switch to one of the big clubs he mentioned, Draxler replied: “To be perfectly honest, I dream of it. But I also say that I have always been a Schalke lad, that my family is Schalke and that I owe the club a lot.
“For all that, my dream is to play for the biggest clubs in Europe.”
^ I think media is manipulating his words..typical DM..Poor TV5..
Well they did put his quote in the article, and it does sounds exactly like how he said it. I don't blame him though, he needs play time...to do that, he needs to be injury free for the rest of the season. I think the boss has given him plenty of time and chance to recuperate his niggling injuries.
