again, i dont fancy for victory once looking at the line up consist of Mikel n Rami. Mikel was the slow type while Rami lack of technique type. Hence, we will rely heavily on our attacking trio to score goals. Luckily Shurrle on his mood, otherwise I dont how the goal may come in as Hazard being tightly marked, Mata outmuscled and Torres looks off pace. This where we need Lampard, however resting him also is a good action after starting few matches prior. KDB couldve been an option instead of Etoo.

anyway, no point dwelling on the past. lets carry on supporting the team and manager

we should scoop David Villa earlier, i think he suits our formation and didn't costs too much either. We failed big time normally with typical number 9 striker (position wise not number wise).

on other note,

Piazon and Van Annholt doing pretty good at Vittesse. Our loan-out player all did decently at the moment.

Jose basically inherit the same team from the previous manager, he's the kind of guy who like to stamp his authorities with the player he choose. if we recall back the glorious 2004/05, how many player he brought in and change Chelsea 180 degree. I think it is obvious there are several players will leave soon because not favor by Jose, the likes of KDB, Ashley Cole (will finish the balance of his contract) and sad but true Juan Mata.

Now back to the build up encounter with Arsenal. Arsenal are wounded, mentally down therefore I would say we still stand a chance to snatch something from Emirates. Not eliminating the possibility of Arsenal make us punching bag instead to redeem themselves biggrin.gif

Chelsea first game of the season against Hull, the 1st half performance was the best performance i've seen for a Premier League team thus far this season gone.

If we could repeat that vs Arsenal. big If though

i noticed recently our player have lost their basic football technique..like 1st touch, one touch passing, winning 2nd ball, heading and of coz finishing..look like City players last nite, very smooth weh their passing. Heck, even Swansea also play better passing game. Dont know what happen to them already, nonetheless thank god we bagged 3 pts. Next, Lpool athome. Just dont lose pls, n pls get rid all the strikers this January. #rage end

rooney and lukaku would compliment each other well i reckon..didnt watch monaco game so i dont know how falcao is doing there. Will we consider diego costa?. Big guy , strong in the air and two footed finisher..

Whatever it is, eto and either ba or torres must go.

If Eto commit that tackle at 70 min, surely he'll get dismissed.

On second one on Suarez, yeah it's a foolish reaction by Eto because Dave already manage to keep the ball in safe.

those craps aside, bloody hell. what a game by Chelsea especially 1st half. Outstanding Willian, Oscar & Hazard.

hardly put a foot wrong Ashley, It's just that Dave in a very good form at the moment.

seeing Ashley walking in to replace Ivanovic put me in ease. we have a very strong depth in the team.

yup, agree to let him go rather than seeing him frustrated on the bench also while playing on the pitch. i guess the heavy burden of two seasons he carried us through has taken it's toll. I wish he improve his performance, energy, stamina & mental strength because that's a Mourinho team is all about otherwise he just slowly killing his career when world cup is just around the corner.

totally agree on the bolded part. both of them (mata and oscar) are very very quality player. and it saddened me that one is sidelined just because he doesn't track back while defending. i know that is the team tactics but still, you are judging an attacking player for his defensive ability. that doesn't sound fair at all. another thing that surprise me is that, even with all the emphasize on defensive duties, we still leaking goals like nobody cares. this is why i can't get over with JM benching mata since the result of the defensive play was not there..

2ndly, i will always judge the players performance when we go against big team and where is oscar during these games (against the league top 7)?

come on mate, it's not about Oscar vs Mata for god sake. Undermine a player while compliment the other just won't do anything good. I mean, every player has both side of the good & ugly. Oscar has his aces, Mata as well has his aces himself. It just happens that Mata aces is yet to do miracle thus far this season hence Mourinho favors to Oscar. What Kerpy said is absolutely spot on, i believe the actual problem is our finisher were not good enough which makes the assist-man look bad.

n chelsea was named d meanest defense during dat time coz very hard for opponent team to penetrate

mean in defense while sharp in attack. iinm, we create some record of highest goal for a premier league season.

with essien, deco, ballack & lamps all at their peak. the only sad thing was we been robbed by a certain Ovrebo..ok now I'll have to stop talking history sweat.gif

damn, forgot that was Hiddink's time

How i wish Mourinho would try to play Oscar as CM role. I mean, Luiz/ Ramires as a deep holding midfielder and Oscar with his bursting run back and forth to support Mata in attacking also Luiz in defending. Hazard on LW, Willian or RW. Perhaps our midfielder will look a bit lightweight but no harm to try against a less physical side isn't it.

Your thought is too wild sir. Buying bendtner will trigger apocalypse.

win!

Should Bendtner leaves Arsenal, they have to retire number 23 for the legend.
