I just picked up a copy of the Xperia Z1 official Guide book from the Sony Centre in the Gardens

do they have lots of copies?

Actually Sony do that previously.

In Xperia Z time, Sony tend to fixed warmer yellowish screen became whiter, thus those already white screen became blueish.

This issue had been discuss widely last time at XDA and China gfan forum.

Sony cannot get proper display quality control and against remove the white balance setting is somehow silly. At least with white balance setting, people still can adjust itself.

Lucky I am release from those issue already, I not going to use back any Sony phone unless Sony can proper control in screen panel and given best screen panel - IPS LCD or AMOLED only.

yellowish on amoled is not normal i heard, from last time when i was going to buy S3. for amoled people tend to look for blue-ish or whiter tone
plug in usb cable into laptop > open vroot > plug in your phone

vroot should start installing the necessary stuffs and connect your phone

Since when got yellowish panel on AMOLED?

Previously before S4, Samsung AMOLED is greenish/blueish. But this issue no longer there since S4.

you are not able to end the call even pressing the "END CALL" button. it will just continue with "number yang anda dial tiada dalam perkhidmatan kami,...." then after few seconds, it auto cut off itself...

Note 2 screen is not accurate, I means start from S4. My Note 3 color is white enough and not over white, I don't see any demo set got yellowish, blueish, greenish issue yet.

And base on my previous Xperia Z, it is too white until slightly blueish.

My Xperia Z Ultra wise ok.

Whatever *ish... the best is let user adjust itself the screen color, everyone prefer different color tones, the most accurate does not means everyone like also. Example Note 3 color is damn accurate when set to Movie mode but I don't like, for professional mode wise, it is following Adobe RGB, in general it is much warmer and wider gamut.

How the screen goes, at least can preferable set is great, Xperia Z can, Z Ultra and Z1 cannot as Sony stupidly remove it. Note 3 can set easily via Screen mode or manually via Colour adjustment.

That is reddish. Above is S 4? How come your S 4 looks smaller than S II?

Don't think this is BIG issue and no longer matter, i just want to state my point, when you compare, it is more apparent. For daily, you wont care that much, just getting used to it, maybe after you saw other panel, then you will ask why so blueish....haiz........ this is the power of internet, when someone make a big deal out of it, people aware of it and start to make discussion in it, while previously people just don't give a admn

You mean S II screen? I never like any Samsung AMOLED screen before S 4. All S, S II, S III, Note & Note II AMOLED screen I never like.

Haha!  Now still got some people test it out Note 3 as still new, soon will be silent.

i want a purple Z1. i am so sad that none of the telcos provide a purple one guess i have to fork out more $$$ even though i am prepared to sign a 24 month contract.

Currently in Kuantan there are no purple Z1 stock. Anyone from KL can advise? is the purple version can be easily found in KL? Thanks.

agree on the stamina mode. It is amazingly good 
I am surprise Z1 SOT is lower than ZU since both same battery but Z1 is smaller screen display.
Overall I am happy with my Z1 so far. Havent encounter any weird buggy software.

i suspect is the camera software/hardware since both are difference in here
Overall Z1 still manage last me a day from 8-9am morning till midnight 12-1am for a single charge. Of course with Wifi and Stamina mode on most of the time.
