Mine doesn't have such problems. Voice navigation and music playback are fine via bluetooth.

I used it on the Note 2. Very slow charging. GCC shows 460mA only. Both ayed08 and I got the same results.

Don't know if it's improved on the Note 3.

My battery stats today:

12h50m48s unplugged
3h17m18s SOT

32% remaining as of right now.

58% Screen
11% Internet (browser)
9% Android OS

My wakelocks are incredibly low after disabling all the Google Location services.

Previously it used to be more than half of my SOT.

Nobody has reported longer charge times but go get Galaxy Charging Current app and test.

From 10%, full charge is less than 2.5 hours using a 2A charger. Any longer means something wrong with your cable, charger or phone.

Please read page 1 about battery.

Stock video player does not play the file.

MX player can only play on software decode.

It does say the Video properties are
H.264/AVC/Mpeg-4 AVC/Mpeg-4 part 10

Perhaps the codec is not supported by the native S800 decoder?

Yes, it lags. Likely a codec issue.

I guess we can try downloading other 4K videos from youtube and see what happens.

If others play well, then check MXPlayer file properties and compare the encoding type.
